Refund & Cancellation Policy

This Refund & Cancellation Policy describes how Rising Bihar ("we," "our," or "us") handles refunds and cancellations for services, assessments, and counseling sessions purchased through our platform. By completing a transaction on our platform, you agree to the terms outlined in this policy.

2. Cancellation Policy

2.1 Counseling Sessions

• Prior Cancellation: You may cancel a scheduled counseling session up to 24 hours before the scheduled start time without any penalty.
• Late Cancellation: Cancellations made within 24 hours of the scheduled start time may not be eligible for a full refund.
• No-Shows: If you fail to attend a scheduled session without prior notice, the session will be considered completed, and no refund will be issued.

2.2 Assessments and Digital Products

• Purchases of digital assessments or downloadable content cannot be canceled once the assessment has been started or the content has been accessed/downloaded.

3. Refund Policy

3.1 Eligibility for Refunds

• Refunds are applicable only for eligible cancellations made within the stipulated timeframe (as mentioned in section 2.1).
• If a service or session cannot be delivered by us due to technical issues or counselor unavailability, you are entitled to a full refund or a rescheduled session.
• No refunds will be provided for partially used services or completed assessments.

3.2 Refund Process

• To request a refund, you must contact our support team at contact@risingbihar.org with your transaction details and reason for the request.
• Approved refunds will be processed within 5-7 business days.
• The refund amount will be credited back to the original method of payment used during the transaction. Please note that it may take additional time for your bank or payment provider to reflect the refund in your account.

4. Exceptions

Certain promotional offers, discounted packages, or specific events may have distinct refund and cancellation terms. These specific terms will be clearly mentioned at the time of purchase and will supersede this general policy.
